Due to the situation caused by the Coronavirus infection (COVID-19), from Blumaq we are following the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
We would like to send a message of calm and responsibility, as one of our priorities is to ensure the health and safety of our employees and families, following the established recommendations.
For this reason, we have implemented different action plans to respond to situations that may occur, in order to ensure business continuity and safeguard the health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers.
A protocol with prevention measures to avoid spread has been established, they are simple and effective measures that everyone must follow in all Blumaq facilities.
The measures are:
-Blumaq Spain facilities are limited to the public until further notice. All visits in our facilities are cancelled.
-The loading and unloading of goods will be carried out without getting out of the vehicle, always following the instructions of the internal staff.
-Customers will only be able to access with prior notice, always following the instructions of the internal staff. Their temperature will be taken and their hands will be disinfected with alcohol-based cleaner.
-Division of facilities by sectors, thus minimizing physical contact and ensuring safety, so that the passage and movement of employees between sectors will be completely forbidden.
-Working shifts have been established. At shift changes, cleaning and disinfection are performed all across the company’s facilities.
-Office personnel have been redistributed between several Blumaq facilities and others work from home.
-Extreme hygiene measures have been taken in all areas.
-We must keep one-meter minimum distance when talking.
-When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth with your elbow flexed or disposable handkerchief and throw it away after use.
-Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, as your hands facilitate the transmission.
-Wear gloves in the warehouse, production and workshop areas.
For greater peace of mind, the transport companies we work with have strengthened the procedures in the delivery of our orders, to ensure the safety of their employees and our customers.
